Acupuncture

Acupuncture (from Latin acus “needle” and pungere “prick”) is a broad term used to describe the insertion and manipulation of thin needles into specific “acupuncture points” on the body for the purpose of restoring your health and wellbeing.  This practice originated in China more than 1,500 years ago.

The purpose of acupuncture is to manipulate the body’s energies to restore physical harmony.  Through the judicious placement of these needles, the body can achieve a harmonious flow of Qi (body energy) to achieve good health.
